Community Guidelines
Last updated: July 10, 2026 | Part of the Terms of Service
Little Lights exists to help people connect for real — with warmth, honesty, and respect. To keep it a safe place, everyone agrees to these guidelines. Breaking them can get your content removed and your account suspended or banned.
Be kind and be present
- Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. Assume good intent.
- Show up genuinely. This is about real connection, not performance.
Zero tolerance
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate of any kind.
- No sexually explicit content, nudity, or unwanted sexual advances.
- No content involving minors that is sexual, exploitative, or abusive — ever. Meeting new people is for adults 18+, and you must not misrepresent your age.
- No violence, self-harm encouragement, or illegal activity.
Keep it real and safe
- No spam, scams, solicitation, advertising, or schemes.
- No impersonation and no sharing other people's private information.
- Protect yourself: be cautious sharing personal details with people you've just met.
When someone crosses a line
- Use Block to stop matching and messaging with someone.
- Use Report to flag a person or conversation — this sends it to us (with the message history) for review and blocks them.
- If you ever feel unsafe or believe someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services.
How we enforce
We review reports and may look at message logs tied to a report. Depending on severity we may warn, remove content, or suspend/ban accounts. Serious cases (especially anything involving harm to minors) may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Thanks for helping keep Little Lights a place worth being.
